Glitter Size Guide
Extra Fine: Smooth, subtle shine with a 0.008" cut size. Commonly used for nails, makeup, and detailed work.
Medium: A 0.025" cut size that adds noticeable sparkle and makes a statement in any project.
Medium Mix: A blend of medium and extra fine cuts that provides even coverage with added depth and sparkle.
Chunky Mixes: Bold, multidimensional sparkle in mixed cut sizes. Popular for statement pieces, snow globe tumblers, crafts, and resin alternative projects.
Epoxy Additives: A unique blend of cut sizes. Can be used as a regular glitter or mixed in small amounts into epoxy or alternatives to add depth and sparkle.
Irregular Shaped: Eye catching and full of character. Irregular shaped glitters feature non uniform cuts, like shards, flakes, or broken glass. They add unexpected texture, movement, and dimension to creative projects.
Size Note:
Glitter size appearance and performance may vary depending on application and base. Not all sizes perform the same in every use. Testing is recommended for best results.
Good to Know
Polyester (PET) Glitter: Our glitter is made from high quality polyester (PET) and is commonly used across a variety of crafting mediums, including epoxy, resin alternatives, adhesives, acrylics, and paints.
Heat Tolerance (PET Glitter): PET glitter may begin to soften or warp at higher temperatures (approximately 160°C–180°C / 320°F–356°F). Use caution with heat sources such as heat guns, curing processes, or other high temperature applications.
For applications such as soft plastic fishing bait making, temperatures and materials can vary significantly, and not all glitters are designed for high heat use.
Cosmetic Grade Materials: Some glitters and powders are made from cosmetic grade materials and are commonly used in applications such as body art, face paint, and nails.
Slight Batch Variations: Like fabrics, paints, or yarns, glitter is produced in dye lots. Small differences in temperature or manufacturing conditions can create slight shade or cut size variations. We work closely with our manufacturers for consistency, but a hint of variation is part of what makes each sparkle uniquely beautiful.
True Colours: We photograph and edit our products as accurately as possible; however, colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings and lighting.
Not for Food Use: Avoid direct contact with food or beverages.
Packaging: Products are sold by weight, not volume. Some glitters may appear fuller than others depending on their density.
Available in a bag or jar, shimmer your way, whether you love sleek display jars or simple heat sealed bags.
Important Note: Colour, performance, and behaviour may vary depending on application, base, heat, and lighting conditions. Some colours or finishes may fade, bleed, or change in certain uses. Customers are responsible for testing and determining suitability for their intended application.
